Return & Refund Policy
Sana Event Rentals
This Return & Refund Policy applies to all sales and rentals made through Sana Event Rentals (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, the customer (“you”, “the client”) agrees to the terms outlined below.
1. Sale Items (Final Sale)
- All sale items are final sale.
- Sale items are non-returnable and non-refundable, including but not limited to décor items, signage, accessories, and clearance items.
- No refunds, exchanges, or store credits will be issued for sale items once the order has been confirmed or delivered, except where required by law.
2. Rental Items – Return Conditions
- All rental items must be returned within the agreed rental period stated on the invoice or contract.
- Rental items must be returned:
- In original condition
- Clean only
- Without any damage
- Without missing parts or accessories
- Failure to meet these conditions may result in additional charges.
3. Late Returns
- Rental items not returned within the agreed rental period may be subject to late return fees.
- Continued non-return of rental items may result in replacement charges equal to the full retail value of the item.
4. Damage, Loss & Replacement
- The client assumes full responsibility for all rental items from the time of delivery or pickup until the time of return.
- Charges may apply for:
- Damaged or broken items
- Items returned unclean
- Missing or stolen items
- Applicable charges may be deducted from the security deposit, if collected, or invoiced separately.
5. Refunds
- Refunds are not provided for sale items.
- Rental fees are non-refundable once the rental period has commenced.
- Refunds will not be issued for:
- Early returns
- Non-use of rented items
- Changes in event plans, venue, or preferences
- Any approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method, in accordance with Ontario consumer regulations.
6. Defective or Incorrect Items
- If a rental item is defective or incorrect at the time of delivery or pickup, the client must notify Sana Event Rentals immediately.
- We will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement or suitable alternative.
- Liability is limited to the rental fee paid for the affected item.
7. Ontario Consumer Protection
Where applicable law conflicts with this policy, Ontario law shall prevail.
This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario).
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
